Great post Peter. Bike shops have always lived off of thin margins, and in WLA, we've seen so many come and go. As these bikes feel more commoditized, the showroom model makes a lot more sense as does other revenue streams that have less to do with inventory and more to do with community and a deeper sense of belonging. That can come with a price tag and sustain a business as well.
